Luchador Stencil

I am working on a new stencil of a luchador mask for t-shirts and/or spray painting onto various items/surfaces. I haven't silk screened any t-shirts in a few years so this should be fun. They are going to be pretty rad when I get done. I can't wait to get started.

Nico's Crush

I think it is funny that my dog Nico has a crush on Rob Dyrdeks dog, Meaty. She loves to watch him anytime he is on MTV. It's like she just can't take her eyes off of him. Besides who doesn't love a rich, skateboarding dog? She also asked for a skateboard this year for Christmas. Coincidence? I think not.

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World

Last night we watched Scott Pilgrim Vs The World and it was pretty hilarious. It is a must see for video game nerds and Michael Cera fans alike. He plays his usually nerdy self only this time he is a video game character and has to fight a new love interests seven evil exes. I love how they filmed the movie as if you were watching a video game. Check it out if you get the chance.

Give Peace A Chance

Today is the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death. I can't imagine what rock and roll would have been like with out him. He was surely ahead of his time in many ways. I can't imagine why anybody would kill such a peace loving man. I hope Mark David Chapman never gets paroled.

X on David Letterman

Such a cool video of an even cooler band, plus it's Letterman from the early 80's so you can't really go wrong.

Jonah Hex

I thought Jonah Hex was a pretty cool movie. Considering the main character Josh Brolin was the older brother from Goonies and the chick Megan Fox was in Transformers it could have been much worse. The movie is based on a DC comic book which I used to read as a kid. *Nerd moment* We gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars and considering that it got such shitty reviews that isn't half bad.

Mono Lake

I just read a pretty cool article on bacterium that thrives on arsenic and is found in Mono Lake. I used to live near the lake which is in the Eastern Sierras of California. If anybody is interested here is the link.

Ice Cream Sandwiches

Tonight I have been wondering why the Shaw's brand ice cream sandwiches don't come in a 30 pack. I mean they make a pack of 12 and all but no 30 pack, come on. What is up with that? I guess you have to by a few packs and just mix 'n' match.

Grown Ups

We watched Grown Ups last night which was hilarious. It had a funny cast and was not too long of a movie either. Adam Sandler (Happy Madison) has put a few real bombs so it was nice to see he still has what it takes to make me laugh out loud.

High Velocity Bowling

My girl bought me a copy of High Velocity Bowling for PS3 as a present for Thanksgiving. It is pretty fun to play and you get to swing the controller around similar to a bowling ball. I think if you had the PS Move it could be a pretty crazy game. My favorite character is Daryl, a redneck truck driver.

Polish Thanksgiving

We decided to go with some Polish food this year instead of the traditional Thanksgiving turkey and all the fixings. My granny is Polish and always made the best food when I was growing up. We had some fun preparing different foods and just kicking it at home for the day. It isn't often I get a holiday off from working in the kitchen. Chicken pirozhkis, lamb goulash, celery & beet salad, mashed potatoes and baked cabbage. With food like this it's enough to make anyone jealous.

Pop Song

Comedian Jon Lajoie cracks me up with his funny antics and videos on youtube.

Everyday Normal Guy 2

Michael Keaton is my favorite Batman and I love that one movie Titanic.

Ip Man

Last night we watched Ip Man, which was one of the best martial arts films I have ever seen. I suggest you check it out if you haven't already.

New Fridge Vs Old Fridge

Today our new GE refrigerator arrived from Sears. It is so nice now that we have a fridge that stays shut, doesn't run up the electric bill and doesn't have holes in the inside doors/exposed insulation. The deliver was free and they took the old Kelvinator away for $10. Not bad when you add in the 7:30 - 9:30 am delivery time frame they gave us. Sears pretty much rules and they had the best deals we found for Energy Star fridges or any other appliances for that matter. The door handles for the new fridge are on the opposite side as the old ones and I keep reaching for the wrong side. R.I.P. Kelvinator

Knucklehead

Last night we watched the movie Knucklehead, rated PG. I must admit I do have a soft spot for movies with wrestlers in them. Look at Princess Bride, Suburban Commando and Nacho Libre, three solid films. I was cracking up (LOLing) through most of the movie which is nice and it had a pretty good cast. I would recommend this film to a friend.

Goodbye Facebook

I am so tired of the whole social network thing so I deleted my Facebook account yesterday. I think it is so impersonal plus people who you would never talk to in real life get upset and rant about the most stupid of things. Everyone and their mom is on Facebook or Myspace these days and besides I could really care less about what most of you are doing anyway. I would rather do my blog which nobody reads than be a part of some bullshit circle of "friends". People need to question what is really going on in the world instead of following what everyone else is doing and trying to be "cool". Better yet get some exercise or go outdoors for starters. No wonder Americans get stereotyped by every other country like they do. This Ill Bill video pretty much breaks it down for those of you who don't know what's up.

Falling Back

I would like to thank Daylight Savings Time today. If it wasn't for "DST" giving me one more hour to sleep in, drink beers and play video games I don't know where I would find the time to do all that on my day off. Thanks again, Yours Truly.

Pizza

We made a couple of pizzas last night for dinner with homemade sauce, peppers, sausage, and mushrooms. We also watched the movie Kick Ass. It was amusing to watch but starts off too slow and had a weak plot. Sometimes it's nice to watch a stupid-funny movie.

Halloween Party

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. I love seeing people in funny costumes and drinking through a straw is always challenging while you're wearing a mask. The bar happened to be walking distance and is only 2 minutes or so from our house. The band was playing Michael Jackson covers all night which was pretty rad and well worth the $5 cover. Plus they serve PBR tallboys which skeletons love. A few pics from before we went out.

Another Day, Another Taco

Taco Tuesday came early this week at the Evans Restaurant. Tonight we hooked up some pulled chicken tacos. Topped with mushrooms, peppers, roasted tomatillo salsa, fresh avocado, lime, sour cream and rice on the side. I wish the picture was scratch and sniff.

Early Snow

This was my view today as I was riding my bike to work. The early snow gets me stoked to snowboard, even though I know it is still going to be awhile until the mountain opens up. It is hard to believe that I have been riding my bike to and from work for almost six months now. Last week I think I passed Lance Armstrong as I was riding my bike to work.

Photo Booth

Acting stupid on camera just comes naturally to me. It always has. 12 photos of yours truly.

Records

I bought some new records today and we also got Halloween costumes, some glass and pumpkins while we were in Burlington. Now on to some chinese food and an episode of Mad Men with my girl. Top left to right: Weezer, Elvis, Defari, and two Jack Johnson albums.
